Innovation for the Development of Senduro Goat Milk for Farmers in Fulfilling Market Needs: The Impact of the Pandemic

Abstract

The aim of this research is to explore innovations in the development of goat milk for breeders in Senduro in response to the pandemic. Employing a qualitative method, this study reveals that the phenomena resulting from the pandemic have led to losses and the suspension of production and services. The emergence of goat milk innovation is a direct consequence of the pandemic's impact. Goat milk collectors, such as Sometimes Tepus, Senduro Goatzilla Farm and Café, have witnessed a decline in production and sales by approximately 20-30%. This has also affected Senduro goat breeders. Aggregator and farmers have been making efforts to meet the demand for goat milk and its processed products.

Tujuan penelitian ini mengeksplorasi inovasi pengembangan susu kambing peternak di Senduro dampak pandemi. Dengan metode kualitatif penelitian ini memperlihatkan fenomena yang terjadi karena adanya pandemi memberikan kerugian dan juga berhentinya produksi maupun jasa. Inovasi dari susu kambing ini muncul karena dampak pandemi. Pengepul susu kambing di Kadang Tepus, Senduro Goatzilla Farm and Café mengalami penurunan produksi dan penjualan sekitar 20 – 30%. Hal ini juga berakibat terhadap para peternak kambing Senduro. Upaya yang dilakukan para pengepul maupun petani untuk tetap dapat memberikan permintaan akan kebutuhan susu kambing maupun olahan hasilnya.
