Abstrak

Bus transportation serves as one of the primary modes of transport facilitating mobility in Bandung. However, there are still operational system challenges. This study aims to identify the types, routes, and several issues faced by public buses in Bandung. Data were collected through a literature review. The findings reveal various types of buses operating in Bandung, including DAMRI, Trans Metro Bandung (TMB), Trans Metro Pasundan (TMP), and Bus Rapid Transit Aman Sehat (BURATAS), each with distinct characteristics and routes. Several issues identified in this study include the limited availability of bus fleets and suboptimal departure time management. The novelty of this research lies in proposing a technology-based management system and the integration of mobile applications for users. By implementing these solutions, it is expected that the public bus transportation system in Bandung will become more reliable, efficient, and sustainable, encouraging the public to shift from private vehicles to public transportation.
